This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed for services offered by The Indian Journal of Legal Affairs and Research ("IJLAR"). By using our services, you agree to abide by this policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Authors may request cancellation of manuscript submission before the peer review process begins. Once a submission is under review, cancellation is not permitted.
  • Subscription cancellations must be requested within 7 days of purchase. After this period, no cancellations will be accepted.
  • Conference or event registrations, if applicable, can only be canceled within the stipulated timeframe mentioned at the time of registration.

3. Refund Policy

  • Refunds for manuscript processing charges will only be issued in cases where the journal fails to initiate the review process.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the subscription has been accessed or utilized.
  • Event registration fees are refundable only if the event is canceled by IJLAR.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 15 business days from the date of approval.

4. No Refund Policy

  • Fees paid for fast-track publication, editorial services, or special issues are non-refundable.
  • Once an article is accepted and published, no refund requests will be entertained.
  • We do not offer refunds; however, upon the author's request, we may remove a published paper from our platform. Once a paper is published, no refund will be provided.
  • IJLAR reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of policy violations or fraudulent transactions.
  • Fees paid for fast-track publication, editorial services, or special issues are non-refundable.
