Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs requests relating to payments made to IJLAR, including any applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs), documentation charges or other journal-related fees, if and when such payments are collected.
1. Nature of Payments
Any fees charged by IJLAR (for example, publication-related charges or administrative fees) will be clearly communicated to authors in writing or on the official website before payment is made.
2. General Rule
As a general principle, payments once made towards confirmed services (such as accepted publication, documentation or processing) are non-refundable, except in cases of genuine error or exceptional circumstances as determined by IJLAR.
3. Cancellations Before Processing
Where a payment has been made but the corresponding process (for example, publication or documentation) has not yet commenced, authors may write to IJLAR with a request for cancellation. The editorial/administrative team may, at its discretion:
- Approve a full or partial refund, after deducting any applicable transaction or handling charges; or
- Offer an adjustment of the paid amount against future services, where appropriate.
4. Duplicate or Excess Payments
In cases of duplicate, excess or erroneous payments, authors should promptly email the relevant transaction details. After verification, IJLAR may process a refund or adjustment, subject to applicable banking and administrative timelines.
5. Mode and Timeline of Refund
Approved refunds will ordinarily be processed through the same mode by which payment was received (for example, bank transfer, UPI or payment gateway), subject to technical feasibility. Timelines may vary based on banking channels and third-party payment processors.
6. Contact for Refund / Cancellation Requests
All refund or cancellation requests should be sent with full transaction details to: ijlar.publication@gmail.com.
7. Policy Updates
IJLAR may revise this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version available on the official website at the time of payment will ordinarily apply to that transaction.
Nothing in this policy affects any rights that may be available to users under applicable law.
