COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT
This Copyright Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into between The Indian Journal of Legal Affairs and Research ("the Journal") and the Author(s) ("Author"), whose details are provided below.
- Grant of Copyright The Author hereby grants and assigns to The Indian Journal of Legal Affairs and Research the exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and communicate the submitted manuscript ("Work") in any form, including but not limited to print, electronic, and online platforms, worldwide and in perpetuity
- Author’s Rights The Author retains the following rights: a. The right to use the Work for personal purposes, including academic presentations and classroom teaching. b. The right to use, reproduce, and distribute the Work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the Journal. c. The right to archive the final published version of the Work in institutional repositories or personal websites with proper citation to the Journal.
- Warranties and Representations The Author warrants that: a. The Work is original and has not been published elsewhere, nor is it under consideration for publication elsewhere. b. The Work does not infringe upon any existing copyright, trademark, patent, or other rights of any third party.c. The Work does not contain any defamatory, libelous, or unlawful content.d. If the Work includes copyrighted material owned by a third party, the Author has obtained the necessary permissions for its use and will provideproof upon request.
- Editing and Publication The Journal reserves the right to edit the Work for clarity, style, and format while ensuring th integrity of the content. The final decision on publication lies solely with the Journal
- Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi
- Entire Agreement This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
- By signing below, the Author acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
